The Monsignor Luckey Endowment Fund was established in 2000, honoring Monsignor Arthur J. Luckey, who gave 41 years of faithful service to the development of Seven Dolors Church and Manhattan Catholic Schools. MCS continues the vision Monsignor Luckey began nearly 100 years ago.

About the Endowment

The endowment is an investment fund, set aside for the long-term support of MCS. Anyone is encouraged to give—our donors have a diverse background, yet share a common commitment to a Catholic education. The endowment ensures a Catholic education is always an option for our children, now and into the future.

Fund Usage

The needs are many within Manhattan Catholic Schools. Following are a few examples of how earnings from the fund are used:

  •  Classroom technology

  •  Foreign language instruction

  •  Tuition/scholarship assistance

  •  Health insurance & faculty retirement

  •  Capital improvements

  •  Professional development for faculty and staff

Ways to Contribute

Gifts to the Monsignor Luckey Endowment Fund may take many forms:
