About our 3 & 4-year old program
Manhattan Catholic Schools offers a Pre-Kindergarten/Preschool program for 3 and 4 year olds. The program is designed to provide a safe, professional and quality accredited educational program. Our developmentally appropriate curriculum within the MCS Christian environment includes all areas of growth: religious, cognitive, language, physical, emotional and creativity.
3 year olds: 2-day (Mon/Wed) or (Tues/Thurs)7:38am-10:08am
4 year olds: 3-day (Mon/Wed/Fri) 11:30am-2:30pm
5-day (Mon-Fri, morning OR afternoon)7:38am-10:38am or 11:30am-2:30pm
We also have childcare for those families enrolled in MCS interested in all-day care.
We will utilize "Splash into Pre-K" from Houghton-Mifflin for our instructional needs. Conscious Discipline is used by Mrs. Sandmann and Ms. Chrest. Mrs. Sandmann and Ms. Chrest will also include a Religion class during the day. We utilize the "Seeds" magazine from Phlaum Publishing as the PreK religion curriculum. Although Pre-K will not attend Mass with the rest of the school, they will be invited to Mass for special occasions.
If you are interested in Pre-K for next year (2016-2017) and would like a tour of the facilities and more information, please contact the school.
