Because MCS is a private, non-profit organization, we depend heavily on fundraisers to cover operational expenses and help keep tuition affordable for our families. There are several fundraising events this year which will contribute more than 15% to the school's budget, enabling us to provide the highest quality Catholic education in a clean, safe, challenging, and loving environment. That's a lot of money to raise — and it can't be done without the support and help of many participants and volunteers! To find out how you can help, call the Advancement Office at 785-565-5050. To learn more specific dates and information about our fundraisers, visit the events page.

Sponsor a Student
The Sponsor a Student program provides tuition reduction to academically qualified students who demonstrate significant financial need. Through the Sponsor a Student program, the sponsor makes an 8 year investment in the student’s education. Sponsors may establish additional criteria, for example identifying a student from a particular parish or one who represents a specific culture. The Superintendent and the Principal determine the eligibility of the students and will do their best to match you with a student who meets the established criteria. If you are interested in learning more about this program, please contact Cindy Donohoue in the Development office at (785)565-5060.
Grow Green Match Day
Your contributions to MCS may be designated in several ways:
Capital Gifts normally address large and carefully defined institutional priorities.
Restricted Gifts are gifts designed by the donor for a specific purpose. Often these gifts support endowment funds that ensure Manhattan Catholic Schools remain an institution of the highest quality in the future. Gifts specified for endowment purposes can be designated to support scholarships, teacher salaries, or general purposes, as well as to fund new program development. Other restricted gifts provide funds for capital improvements.
A gift in memory of someone you love or admire can be a particularly meaningful way to contribute to Manhattan Catholic Schools. A memorial gift may be made to the Annual Fund or a capital gift and may be restricted or unrestricted.
A financial contribution may be made as cash, securities, stock or bonds, real estate, bequests, or life insurance. To discuss these, contact the Development office at 785-565-5060.
